Yad B’Yad Unity Lodge

Yad B’Yad Unity Lodge

ad B’Yad Lodge was inaugurated in 1988, originally meeting in members’ homes in the Pinner, Hatch End, North Harrow and Northwood area. We now also have members from Bushey, Kenton, Stanmore and Edgware. Due to the growth in our membership we moved our monthly speaker meetings to Pinner synagogue.

Shortly after lockdown came into force in March 2020, we used Zoom for our monthly speaker meetings, as well as for the Arts and Literature group and the Book Club. We look forward to resuming our Music, Bridge and Rummikub evenings once we are able to meet in members’ houses again. We have been able to do some walks, ensuring social distancing. The annual walking/non-walkers’ holiday has been postponed. Our lodge members regularly attend the BBUK Zoom meetings.

We continue to support BBUK’s core charities in Israel and Ukraine as well as donating to the Harrow Foodbank. We look forward to defending our title as winners of the BBUK Interlodge fundraising Quiz Supper.

We are a friendly Lodge and new members are always welcome
