Dear Friends,
This message is to wish you and your families well during the current crisis and to update you as to my thoughts on the effects of the Coronavirus on B’nai B’rith activities. I am sure that each and every one of us is taking the precautions advised by the government and monitoring the daily reports. All B’nai B’rith UK activities are being reviewed and although cancellations seriously affect both our charitable fundraising and our social interaction, the health of each and every one of you must take priority. Our projects will all be continuing to the best of our abilities but of course all meetings are being postponed until we are told that it is safe to resume. Please remain strong as once this crisis is over we can then recommence our activities for B’nai B’rith with renewed enthusiasm. It is a long time since the original motto of B’nai B’rith, “Benevolence, Brotherly and Sisterly Love and Harmony” was so appropriate. With my best personal greetings and sincere wishes for your good health and of course for your families and friends.
Yours,
Alan Miller
