Statement of solidarity with Israel

B’nai B’rith UK notes with alarm the growing threats against Israel that are coming from the Iranian regime and its terror proxies. We would like to express our enduring solidarity with the people of Israel and our outrage at the incessant attacks against them on multiple fronts. This includes the heinous attack on the Druze community of Majdal Shams which killed 12 children. These developments are a reminder that the ayatollah regime is a menace to many people: to the people of Iran, especially its minorities; to Israel; to other pro-western nations in the Middle East and to the West more broadly. Thus, Western countries should be standing shoulder to shoulder with Israel in its hour of need as well as taking decisive steps against Tehran. They should proscribe the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps at once, as well as ban Hezbollah in its entirety. They should continue to send weapons for Israel’s defence and speak out against Iran’s nefarious regional behaviour. Addressing this menace now is fundamental to western security.
