B’nai B’rith UK welcomes the legislative pause in Israel

B’nai B’rith UK has been deeply alarmed at the growing rift within Israeli society over the government’s proposed judicial overhaul. We welcome the legislative pause that was announced recently and hope that it gives political figures from all sides the time to produce a sensible and lasting compromise. At a time of unprecedented security challenges, Israel needs unity and togetherness, rather than polarisation.
