Heritage Days Zoom Meeting with Malcolm Singer
Last night, well known composer, conductor and educationalist Malcolm Singer gave a presentation to friends and supporters of B’nai B’rith UK on ‘Leonard Bernstein: The Jewish works’. Singer delved into a number of Bernstein’s most famous pieces, including Kol Nidre, Jeremiah and West Side Story, showing how they were influenced by a set of Jewish rhythms and cadences.
