Last Wednesday, Jonathan Spyer, director of research at The Middle East Forum, addressed BBUK members and supporters on The Middle East After October 7: Strategies, Challenges and Opportunities. He addressed the role that Iran and her terrorist proxies were playing in the Middle East to reverse the western backed status quo, as well as the forces arrayed against them. He discussed the recent history of the conflict, touching on the Abraham Accords, as well as the role being played in the Gaza war by a number of state actors. Jonathan’s eloquent and insightful analysis was well appreciated by the attendees.
