BBUK/BBI Zoom Webinar – Ukraine: One Year of War

On February 24 we mark one full year of Russia’s war in Ukraine, the largest military aggression on European soil since the end of the Second World War. It has led to millions of Ukrainian refugees and internally displaced people, hundreds of thousands killed and full cities destroyed. Premised on the outrageous claims of “denazification” – the war has also affected Ukraine’s large Jewish community, Jewish cultural heritage sites and sites dedicated to the memory of the Holocaust.
Join us to take stock of the current toll of the war, the situation of the Ukrainian Jewish community, humanitarian aid efforts and what might be awaiting Ukraine ahead. We will discuss civil society responses, as well as the role played by Israel and its humanitarian and diplomatic response.
Most importantly, as we look back on 365 days of war, this grim anniversary is a reminder that the attention and support of the international community and individual people across the globe is as important as ever.
Join B’nai B’rith International, B’nai B’rith U.K. and the B’nai B’rith World Centre, Jerusalem in discussing all this and more:
