B’nai Brith UK welcomes yesterday’s historic accords that have normalised relations between Israel and the Gulf states of Bahrain and the UAE. This is a truly historic moment in the history of the region and one which reflects the yearning of millions for progress, stability and co-existence. Israel has gained new partners for peace while Bahrain and the UAE have a valuable ally in the striving for prosperity and modernisation. All decent people in the Middle East will gain strength from the ties that have been created between these three nations. We look forward to more countries forging agreements with Israel and taking bold steps to achieve peace and stability.
